BUDDY CAMP AT

What’s that? Your Troop is attending summer camp, but you’ll be on family vacation? You’re camping for a week at Mataguay, but you’d also like to go to summer camp at Fiesta Island? One week of camp just isn’t enough for you?

Welcome to Buddy Camp 2008!

Buddy Camp is a full-fledged week of summer camp, offered at both the Mataguay Scout Ranch and Camp Fiesta Island. Instead of attending with your regular troop, you can attend by yourself or with a few buddies.

When you arrive at camp you’ll join other Scouts in a special troop, led by qualified adults who’ll serve as your scoutmasters. You’ll form up into patrols and choose leaders, just like your home troop. You’ll eat with your patrol, participate in activities and rank advancements together, and enjoy the same top quality programs and high adventure opportunities that all our campers do.
