Many Scout activities beyond the unit meeting require a parent permission and media release form. If you
are sponsoring an event, provide a copy of the Photograph/Recording Release Form with your
flyer and registration materials.
Use this form to propose a council-wide activity or event sponsored by your zone but open to other zones.
Both community organizations and BSA unit leaders should submit one of these forms at least 6 weeks prior to
a scheduled event for proper approval. Many activities should be planned 6 months to a year in advance and
