Summer Programs

The San Diego-Imperial Council offers a wide variety of summer programs. There are opportunities for all Scouts, from resident camping to day camps, and from sea level to 3,200 feet elevation.

All camps require particpants to have a completed Annual Health and Medical Record.


Camp Fiesta Island
Mission Bay, San Diego
(Scouts BSA Resident Camp)

Spend a week of Scouting adventure on the beach at Camp Fiesta Island! This Aquatic Center facility is located on beautiful Mission Bay. You'll camp among the sandy dunes and set sail for the Pacific Ocean. Campers at CFI enjoy the ultimate waterfront experience.

Day Trekker Scouts BSA Camp
Camp Fiesta Island
(Scouts BSA Day Camp)

Day Trekker Camp at Camp Fiesta Island is a Monday - Friday Day Camp Program exclusively for Scouts BSA. Campers can enroll in any age appropriate day programs, including Mariners (Trail to First Class), SCUBA, personal watercraft, and all the traditional merit badges offered at Camp Fiesta Island!

Cub Scout Day Camps
(Tiger Cubs and Cub Scouts)

Cub Scout Day Camps are held in many locations in the council every summer. Activities vary by location but one thing is for sure . . . . .Day Camps are full of fun and adventure. Typical activities include:

  • Crafts
  • Games
  • Nature
  • Swimming
  • BB guns
  • Archery
  • and more

The purpose is to have FUN in the outdoors while working on achievements and electives, guided by experienced staff.
