FULFILL THE PROMISE: A youth joins a pack because somewhere they saw or heard that Scouting provides the excitement of camping in the great outdoors. They want to share that excitement with their buddies in a den as part of a pack. This is what they expect. Parents like yourself hold the key to fulfilling this understood promise. You can unlock the door to adventure so that one day that Scout will say, "It was all that I had hoped for and more!"
We know that youth are attracted to Scouting by the promise of adventure in the great outdoors! That's why we're all so excited about the San Diego-Imperial Council's Webelos outdoor resident program – especially designed for your Webelos Scout. The Webelos Outdoor Adventure will take place at Camp Fiesta Island located in Mission Bay.
This camp is a fantastic introduction to the Scouts BSA program while providing the additional adult supervision and structure still needed by the Cubs. Webelos may attend as individuals with a parent/guardian or come as the whole Webelos den with leaders/parents.
Program for your Webelos will include but not be limited to: knot tying, nature, pioneering, First Aid, swimming, waterfront (kayaks, canoeing, and fishing) as well as ample free time for the Scouts to relax and take it easy.
