Michelle Generazzo is the Scoutmaster for Scouts BSA Girls Troop 324 in the Foothills Zone. As a youth, she was a Girl Scout in Troop 6054 in Santee, earning her Silver Award. Her wonderful Scouting experience as a youth has led her to be a passionate volunteer as an adult. She works as Vice President Branch Service Manager at California Bank & Trust in Del Mar and has been with the company for 23 years.
Michelle became involved in Boy Scouts 11 years ago when her son joined as a tiger Scout and her husband volunteered to be the den leader. She has served in various roles over the years at the pack, crew, district, and troop level. She attended Wood Badge on the W6-49-13 course as a member of the Eagle Patrol earning her neckerchief, woggle and beads in March 2014. This will be her sixth time on staff; Troop Guide W6-49-15, Assistant Quartermaster W6-49-16, Quartermaster W6-49-17, ASM of Program W6-49-18 and ASM of Logistics W6-49-19.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and geocaching with her family. Michelle has been married to her husband Vince for 19 years and they have four wonderful children and one grandchild. Abby (25) currently lives in Portland, Oregon. Shelby (24, Venturing Silver Award) is active duty in the United States Air Force as Security Forces; she lives in Texas with their 2-year-old granddaughter Raven. Alex (17, Life) is in 12th grade at Granite Hills High School and Sophia (13, Girl Scout Cadette and Scouts BSA 1st Class) is in 8th grade at Greenfield Middle School; both are actively involved in Scouting. It has been a great experience being involved with and watching her kid's progress and grow from what Scouting has to offer.
During her time in Scouting, Michelle has received the Cub Scouter award, Bear Den Leader Award, Webelos Den Leader Award, District Committee Key and District Award of Merit and was a Silver Beaver recipient in 2019.
