3-49-23 Troop Guide, Mike Loether

Mike's Scouting journey started with Cub Scouts as a Wolf in Colorado. After moving to Arizona and continuing on in Pack 54 he received his Arrow of Light and bridged to Boy Scouts in Troop 54 where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1997. Mike was also an active Explorer/Venturer in Post 64 and camp staff at Lost Valley Scout Reservation.

After 4 years as Cubmaster of Pack 383 Mike has passed on the reins, and is now serving as a Unit Commissioner and Assistant Scoutmaster. He attended course W6-49-17 and used to be an Eagle. Mike was honored to serve as on course W6-49-19 and is excited to be back on course teaching and learning with another group of Scouters.

Mike is a Principal Technical Account Manager with Forcepoint a security software company, providing technical support and consulting services to Fortune 500 customers.

Mike has been married to his best friend Liz for 20 years and they have two wonderful children together. Katrina and Jackson started Scouts BSA within a few months of each other in early 2019, and are experiencing the best parts of Scouting according to each of them.
